SEO – 14 page elements to take into account
Web managers – are you looking to optimise your pages for search? The following 14 page elements, ranked in order of importance, should help you accomplish good SERP (Search Engine Results Page).
- Keywords in the title.
- Keywords first in the title (the closer your keywords are to the start of the title – ideally the first words – the more powerful they are).
- Keywords in the domain.
- Keywords in the body text.
- Relevancy between keywords and body text.
- Keywords in H1 tag.
- Keywords in the internal link anchor text on page.
- Keywords in the external link anchor text on page.
- Keyword in the URL.
- Keywords in H2/3/4 tags.
- Keywords in the alt tags of images.
- Keywords in the bold/strong tags.
- Keywords in the Meta Description Tag.
- Keywords in the Meta Keywords Tag.
